Title: Software Implementation Consultant
Duration: August 2023 – June 2025
As part of a ground up product launch, I became a core developer on a brand new, enterprise level Child Support application. This system is designed to serve both child support professionals and the general public - including parents (obligors/obligees). I worked end-to-end on its development, helping translate real world government workflows into secure, scalable, and user friendly software.
- Collaborated with the state of Alaska to support the implementation of large scale enterprise software for a brand new core product.
- Participated in client meetings to gather requirements and document technical needs, ensuring that project goals aligned with business objectives.
- Drove full stack development of enterprise software solutions for the Child Support application using object oriented principles, contributing to the design, implementation, and delivery of core functionality in alignment with client requirements within an Agile development lifecycle.
- Built and optimized data migration tools to convert legacy records into the new format.
- Redesigned how the Social Security Numbers were stored using tokenization for system wide privacy compliance.
- Identified and resolved more than 250+ system level bugs during unit testing, improving system stability and becoming one of the team’s go to debugging resource.
- Wrote efficient backend SQL queries to support large scale reporting and real time data visualization.
- Developed secure account sharing functionality that allowed users and organizations to grant and manage role based access across portals (e.g., employers granting payroll firms access, or parents delegating case access to guardians). Frontend via Java and C# & SQL backend integration.
Here are a few of the portals I worked on: Client Portal, Business Portal, and Tribal Portal.
